Energy Corps member Dan Dean at the City of Fayetteville Sustainability Department has been an active member of the Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks advocacy organization since it was founded in 1999. This year, the B.C.O. celebrated National Bicycle Month in May with a Bicycle Commuter Challenge, a Mayoral proclamation and a group ride along Fayetteville’s multi-use trail system.
